YOUR ELECTED WARD COUNCILLORS should be your primary contacts to ensure you are treated properly by the City of Wanneroo - YOUR COUNCIL.
YOUR ELECTED WARD COUNCILLORS are responsible each year for delivering and performing to a well considered, balanced budget, using the money council gets from Rates, Taxes, the Goods and Services it sells and from State and Federal Government grants for your benefit and the benefit of your area.
YOUR ELECTED WARD COUNCILLORS should be all about you, your area, your environment, your issues, your services and the services and facilities you want council to provide - including the financial strategies by which council budgets to pay for all this. Government of the people, by the people and for the people.
YOUR ELECTED WARD COUNCILLORS should be elected by you for all the right reasons. Once you have elected us, don't just leave us alone to get on with the job for you. Too often we only hear from you when something has gone wrong or you have not been able to get a desired response from council. Get us involved as early as possible - keep me on my toes, I don't mind.
I WANT TO BE YOUR BEST EVER COUNCILLOR and will always represent you free from any undue influence - if you thank me along the way - so much the better, and thank you for that.
